Terms & Conditions


These general terms and conditions of sale apply to purchases made on the website www.gingaethicalclothing.com.

All merchandise remains our property until payment is fulfilled. No other payment options in addition to those displayed at checkout is accepted. GINGA Ethical Clothing holds the right to have minor deviations related how material, color, weight, measurements, or manufacturing, appear on our online shop. This also includes type faults, price and stock changes. All prices include Swiss vat.

Please note: Depending on the color setting of your computer's screen, the color rendering of the items may vary or be different.  


1. You select the desired items and put them in the shopping cart.

2. When you have selected everything, continue to checkout.

3. Under Shipping data, select Billing and delivery address.

4. Here you can specify the desired payment method.

5. In the last step you can check your order. You may still make changes. After completing the order, you will receive a confirmation email.

Please note: An order confirmation does not yet constitute a binding purchase contract. The purchase contract becomes effective after receipt of the shipment by your approval of the respective goods. At the latest, however, after the end of the approval period, which begins with the receipt of the respective goods.Your acceptance of contract will be automatically valid if you do not send any other message to GINGA Ethical Clothing or return the goods within the term of the approval. 


The order will be sent to the address you enter at the checkout. GINGA Ethical Clothing will dispatch the approved orders as quickly as possible and in the order that they have been received.

a. Shipping destinations and shipping fees Estimated delivery time is 2-5 working days, if anything else is not announced.Shipping fees specified in CHF (Swiss Francs) will be displayed at checkout before the final payment step.

b. Uncollected packages

We will charge 25 CHF for declined items, e.g. if you refuse to sign or will not pick up the order at your pick-up point. If you change your mind about things you ordered contact our customer service immediately. You still have to collect your package and return it back to us. Damaged goods shall be reported at the pick-up point. If you notice the damage after receiving the package please contact our customer service. When returning it you are responsible for the goods.


You have the right to cancel your purchases made on our website www.gingaethicalclothing.com without giving any reason within a period of three (3) calendar days after the day of delivery of the goods. The goods have to be undamaged and unused, with any labels or tags intact. Returns that are damaged or soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on) may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. All items returned should include the completed returns note with an order reference number and your contact details. Unidentified returns may not be eligible for a refund.

The order must be sent to: WohnWerk Missionsstrasse 47 4055 Basel.

The client has to bear the costs of the return, if the delivered goods correspond to those ordered. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days.The period begins for you with the dispatch of your revocation or the thing, for us with their receipt.

Important note: We encourage our clients to make sure they want to the product before buying it. Send items back and forth uselessly helps environmental issues.


Payment of the product prices and shipping costs are shown already while ordering.

In case of payment by Credit Card, all clients data and card information will be handled by STRIPE. Such details will not be used by GINGA Ethical Clothing except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns, in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud to the police.


All duties and charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer. GINGA Ethical Clothing has no control over these duties and fees, and we can not provide information about their levels as they vary from country to country. We recommend informing the relevant customs office before ordering in order to avoid unforeseen costs.
