What: Socks Design

Since 2019, Ginga designs a capsule collection for PaarSocks: a trendy brand from Zürich, Switzerland.

We create four different surface pattern designs for each sock. They sell a package with 4 mismatched socks, so people can wear them also with their loved ones.

Ginga designed so far six different collections. Each theme is chosen together with our designers and based on a trendy subject.

PaarSocks’ slogan “Walk in Colours” makes our collaboration the perfect match!

Why

The MISMATCH COLLECTION is a tribute to the worldwide movement of wearing unequal socks and enables you to support inclusion in fashion the whole year through.

The Mismatch Collections are inspired by International World Down Syndrome Day, which has taken place on 21 March since 2006.

Wearing two unequal socks during March, the official Down Syndrome month symbolizes solidarity and acceptance towards people with Trisomy 21.
